What is Five Nights at Freddy's?

Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie point-and-click survival horror game. Where the player controls a night time security guard for an anamatronic mascot pizzeria called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, while he anamatronics roam the hall's and you need to check camera's the hallways and close the doors if neccacerly to survive all while preserving power to survive the night's.

The first game was teased by Scott June 15, 2014 via a trailer and released by scott on August,18th 2014. On steam for only $4.99. It's success was mostly due to media coverage by let's players what made Scott make multiple sequels trough out the years even a spin off, books, comics, and the upcoming movie.

The games origins

The story behind the games creation is quite intresting.

Scott Cawthon who before the released of the first Freddy’s game had been activivly making projects and games since 1994 they where never quite sucessful, Despite now being known for his horror franchise.

Scott started out making christian adventure games and family friendly games including his family friendly title Chipper & Sons Lumber co. December 29, 2013 was heavly criticized for its animal characters resembling "scary" animatronics. His situation led him to depression and a crisis of faith until he decided to create the how famous horror game featuring intentionally scary animatronics.
